Coloured Reptile Heating Lamps
Arcadia Reptile GoldenSun® coloured reptile heating lamps, have been specifically designed to produce high levels of bioavailable energy at a slightly lower colour temperature than has been possible before in standard incandescent lamps. As lighting experts we have been able to create a whole lamp range that emits a colour of light at CCT-2300k, this creates a highly naturalistic sun-like golden hue which is deeply warming for captive reptiles and maintains a high CRI. GoldenSun® coloured lamps maintain the production of bioavailable heat, being optimized for deep tissue warming, whilst creating a visually warming golden colour.
Arcadia Reptile GoldenSun® lamps have been specifically created for use with reptiles and to produce an impactful colour temperature. This exclusive new innovation ensures that all of the wavelengths of light usually provided by heat lamps are included, this guarantees that GoldenSun® lamps are usable by captive reptiles.
The Arcadia Reptile GoldenSun® range has been extensively tested by experts and within the worlds most advanced independent lab based light measuring devices which has allowed us to publish the spectrum diagrams over 1600nm, and to be sure that they produce the correct colour ‘CCT’ of 2300k.
All GoldenSun® lamps can be used with thermostatic control and alongside suitable species specific Arcadia Reptile LumenIZE-ProT59 and JungleDawn® LED lamps, ensuring essential UV-B and greatly increasing lux. GoldenSun® lamps do not require any special fittings or adaptations and can be used in all quality fittings.
GoldenSun® lamps realistically replicate the colour of golden sunlight without any impact to the heating potential or the bioavailability of the lamp. These coloured lamps are the first to have been created with technology that allows us to reduce the colour temperature of lamps, providing a highly bioavailable solution for keepers in the USA and Canada.

They produce a CCT of 2300k at 120v as stated within legislation within the stipulation for coloured lamps. Arcadia Reptile GoldenSun® Reptile lamps have been designed to provide energy within the optimal spectrum for reptile heating. This coloured lamp has not been created as a general service lamp (GSL) but to ensure high levels of animal welfare. Product not suitable for household lighting.
